Founded in 2010 by business partners Chris Torrisi and Paul McMahon, Impératif has been built on a foundation of years of contact centre experience.
The Impératif brand was launched when Chris and Paul noticed a yawning gap in the Australian automotive market for a dedicated, expert and reliable Australian contact centre partner.
Impératif’s point of difference has always been that we treat our call centre services as a discipline as opposed to just an add on. Our team are handpicked experts in their fields who devote their time to honing and executing their craft, while keeping one step ahead of the rest of the world in their area.
Paul McMahon
After falling in love with Australia during a backpacking sabbatical from the call centre industry, Paul emigrated from Scotland in 2004.
Paul, one of the two Impératif Co-Founders and Directors, is committed to ensuring Impératif is at the cutting edge of all Australian contact centre trends, providing all of our clients with a rewarding partnership and overseeing the Impératif family growth.
Paul holds 15 years of experience in the call centre and automotive industry. His skills and experience have been gained via junior through to senior roles within major organisations in the UK and here in Australia.
Prior to leaving Scotland, Paul completed a degree in Information Technology before accepting a role as a contact centre graduate in Scotland with Ford Motor Company. Paul quickly worked his way up the ranks of Call Centre Management, his previous role before Imperatif having been the national Call Centre Manager for such prestigious clients as Audi, Land Rover, Volkswagen, Jaguar and Lexus. On top of his duties at Impératif, Paul’s projects include Brisbane Window & Solar Panel Cleaning.
Paul is happily married and is a proud father of two children. When not in the call centre, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, guitar playing and socialising with friends.
Chris Torrisi
Chris, one of two Directors, co-founded Impératif in 2009 with a calling to create an indispensable Australian contact centre business that delivers a return on investment to automotive manufacturers and dealerships. He is responsible for the management of clients, strategic planning for the company and the overseeing of call centre operations.
Chris holds 11 years of experience in the automotive industry. He gained his skills and experience via holding senior roles, predominantly in the automotive customer management sector.
Prior to founding Impératif, Chris was a Strategic Automotive National Account Manager for a blue chip Australian organisation responsible for managing the strategic relationships between manufacturers such as Audi, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Kia, Jaguar, Land Rover, Harley Davidson, Ducati and a suite of auto leasing companies.
Chris is a proud father of his daughter and when not in the call centre, he enjoys spending time with friends and relaxing.
Well respected within the automotive industry and holding a great rapport with his clients, Chris is committed to assisting Impératif clients in preserving customer relationships that are of significant importance to their future growth.
